About Us

Updated December 2025: 

On October 1, 2025, I, Dominie Garcia, became the owner of Pie Bar. This follows
decades spent in corporate and academic roles across several industries, and I can
confidently say: this is exactly where I’m meant to be.
I couldn’t be more thrilled or more grateful.

Pie Bar, founded and lovingly built by Lauren and Cody Bolden in 2015, is one of the
strongest and most special organizations I’ve ever been part of. It starts with the people
— both our team and our guests. Everyone is respectful, community-oriented, and
deeply connected to what Pie Bar represents. The pride and care our team puts into
hand-making each pie is incredible.

The recipes, ingredients, and finished pies — developed by Lauren and the team over
the years — are truly some of the best baked goods I’ve ever tasted. (And I’ve traveled
and eaten out way more than I probably should!)

Our operations are guided by an exceptional management team: Vivian Gamel (General
Manager), April Latham (Kitchen Manager), Tony Hunt (Woodstock Shop Manager), and
Jade Schibner (Marietta Shop Manager). Each plays an integral role in making Pie Bar
the best place for pie and coffee, and I already love working alongside them.

I’m honored to lead Pie Bar into its next chapter and excited to share our special
products and cozy, welcoming atmosphere with even more people.
