Don't worry, we have not gone hipster on yall..or any more hipster than we are currently accused of being. We generally offer Cool Bean's Coffee in our shop two ways -- with cream or with out. However, now that the weather is warming up, a little cold coffee is never a bad idea. We like to keep things simple, so when Cool Bean's recommended we offer Cold Brew Coffee, my eyes rolled. Literally. The last thing I want to do is add some complicated coffee system when all I generally know about coffee is that if I have more than two cups, I get the shakes. Bad.
However, we were sweet talked into trying it, and I'm not going to lie yall, Cold Brew Coffee is just BETTER than lame old iced coffee. I have been converted!
I can understand your hesitation -- you avoid terms like "venti" and "latte". You like your coffee strong, black, and preferably it comes from a canister. You would rather buy your gas station coffee any day over giving in to the fancy drinks forced upon you by pinterest and pop culture. Fads come and go, but a good cup of coffee is here to stay. I hear you, sister. I have also seen and appreciated Folgers commercials from time to time. They find a way to appeal to your sense of sensibility and nostalgia. Fancy coffee seems impersonal. But, that's just it -- Cold Brew Coffee is so easy it's stupid. Seriously.
So what is the difference between cold brew coffee and iced coffee?
Iced Coffee: Grind beans, brew hot coffee, refrigerate hot coffee, pour over ice & drink.
Cold Brew Coffee: Grind beans, steep in cold water for 12-24 hours, pour over ice & drink.
That's it.

It all started with a glass of ice. So simple.
When you twist the nozzle, you would think angels were crying..tears of sweet coffee nectar.
Because I am a sissy girl, I take my coffee with cream. I know, I know. I'm working on it.
