It is that time of the year again, where we all gather together and celebrate a truly magical treat! That being the wonderful and delicious, Chocolate Chip Cookie. The reason being this Wednesday, August 4th is none other than Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!
This wonderful day has but one mission, to bring us all together in the name of the greatest cookie in the world! Oh just thinking of this delicious treat has my heart skipping a beat, to be very honest I can hear my stomach growl just from the thought! Now I could go on and on about how tasty this cookie is, but I am certain there must be a question popping up from you. Why on earth is a pie shop talking about cookies? Well my friend I have the answer, we here at Pie Bar going to be celebrating this terrific day! How you may ask, well that is simple! We are going to be bringing back none other than, the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pie!
When I tell you this pie is a real show stopper, I mean it! This pie brings together everything you love about a chocolate chip cookie, regardless if you are having it hot or cold! Now if you are enjoying it cold, this pie is just like good old fashion chocolate chip cookie dough! Warmed up it is just like having a nice, melty chocolate cookie! Personally, I go and warm it up, especially pairing it with a delicious scoop of Ice Cream! Personally Now about that chocolate, it is delicious semi-sweet chocolate that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Now my personal favorite part of this pie has got to be the amazing, toasted pecans that bring an already amazing pie to the next level!
Now with this pie being a vault release, that does mean it will be a one-day item. But have no fear, I have some info that is sure to bring a smile to your face! This Pie can be frozen, so there is no shame in picking up a few! So even though it may be one day, you can always freeze and store it for a later date!
